Photo Gallery «Bonhams Amelia Island 2017 - the oldest car was the most sought-after»
On the occasion of the Concours d'Elégance Amelia Island in March 2017, the auction house Bonhams organized an auction of 86 cars with a total value of around USD 17.5 million at the Fernandina Beach Golf Club on 9 March 2017. While many of the newer cars, such as the Porsche Carrera GT, did not find a new owner, the oldest car in the auction, of all things, shone with a price well above expectations. A BMW 2002 Turbo also came as a positive surprise, while the otherwise highly acclaimed Jaguar E-Types were disappointing. This article analyzes the results and shows all the vehicles, as well as the detailed results.
