Three decades have now passed since Ayrton Senna's fatal accident. Nevertheless, the Brazilian is still omnipresent in historic motorsport - perhaps more so than ever in this sad anniversary year. That is why the "Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile" in Turin is hosting the special exhibition "Ayrton Senna Forever" until October 13, which showcases numerous exhibits from his career, from the early days in karts to the fatal Williams FW16.

On the way to Monte-Carlo for the Grand Prix Historique de Monaco, Ayrton Senna was more present than ever before in the last 30 years. Three decades have now passed since the fatal accident in Imola. Even though his death is long gone, his aura is still present. That is why the Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile in Turin is currently showing a large special exhibition about the famous Brazilian, in which his suits, helmets and, of course, his cars can be admired. Only the seat of the Toleman TG184 was empty, as the car was already in the pits in Monte-Carlo ready for the Senna parade. Ayrton Senna da Silva (March 21, 1960 - May 1, 1994) began his career in go-karts, where he became South American champion in 1977. He had barely arrived in Europe when he was signed by the Italian kart manufacturer DAP.
