The AR archive contains two historical photos on the subject of Autonacional: One shows the company management framing the aged Gabriel Voisin, while the other shows them shaking hands with the strapping Generalissimo Franco. The legendary French aircraft designer Voisin had also produced exclusive automobiles in the interwar period. The Biscooter , developed by his Parisian company Aeromécanique, was a four-wheeled small car that was consistently adapted to the austere post-war period. After people in France failed to warm to the 257 cm short dwarf, the state-owned company Autonacional SA in Barcelona took over licensed production in 1953/54.
