"150 air-cooled cylinders, divided into 25 Porsche boxer engines" announced the Auctionata auctioneer in the studio in Berlin on December 12, 2015 at 18:00 in the evening. In fact, the auction that Auctionata organized on Saturday evening must have been unique, because hardly ever before have exclusively air-cooled 911 models from Porsche been brought under the hammer in an auction. As with the Ferrari auction a few weeks ago, the cars were not presented to the public in Berlin, but at a different location, namely in Hamburg, at the Prototyp Automuseum. There, expert Ulf Poschardt, known as a 911 enthusiast, explained the intricacies of the models on offer. The light in Hamburg was a little dim, so details of the vehicles were not always clearly visible.
