On 24 October 2021, the French auction house Artcurial organized an auction of 95 cars with an average age of 48 years on the Champs-Elysées in Paris. The average estimate per car was around EUR 88,000, but the bidders often saw things differently and so some of the cars were sold well below or above the estimate, which was also supported by the high proportion of cars without a minimum bid. While a Subaru Rallye works car could not be sold, a works Citroën BX 4TC Group B car achieved the second-highest price at over EUR 400,000.
