As is the case every year at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, there were also a few pre-race programs to enjoy this year. One of these is traditionally held every year: Le Mans Legend. On this occasion, the track in the Sarthe is opened for 45 minutes for historic racing cars, a moment that delights many Le Mans enthusiasts. Anyone who thinks that the 61 drivers will only drive their Le Mans Legends very carefully around the Circuit de la Sarthe is completely wrong: in the front ranks, there is a fierce fight for every position (see videos on the left: parts 1 to 3). Saturday, 9:00 a.m.: As you listen to the sounds of the modern cars from the warm-up and make your way to the track, your gaze wanders over the tent landscape, over the many fans making a pilgrimage in the same direction as the action, the smell of sizzling merguez tickles your nose and some early risers are already holding a cold beer in their hands; you won't find hot coffee here... With over 250,000 visitors, Le Mans is a gigantic event for "petrolheads", pure racing, everyone is happy...
