The Bosch Hockenheim Historic 2018 took place from April 20 to 22, 2018 and featured races and demonstration runs from around a dozen series and associations. The event is dedicated to the legendary Jim Clark, who died 50 years ago at the Hockenheimring. This picture story commemorates the fast Scotsman, but also humorously draws attention to other special features of the Hockenheim Historic 2018.

On April 7, 1968, the Scottish steering wheel virtuoso Jim Clark had a fatal accident in Hockenheim in a Formula 2 race that was completely unimportant to him.

The file on the mysterious accident was closed for good by the Mannheim public prosecutor's office after a few days.

Today, only his racing cars, photos, memorabilis and many memories bear witness to his 32 years on earth.
