The 41st staging of the AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix once again attracted over 50,000 spectators to the Eifel from August 9 to 11, 2013. And they were treated to a lot, 18 races in a wide variety of vehicle classes and various demonstration drives with vehicles that are otherwise hardly ever seen. Two races for the AvD Touring Car Trophy were also held at the weekend. Touring cars and GT vehicles up to 1965 were on the grid. Typical for this type of race are the unequal duels between lightweights - Lotus Elan, Ginetta G4, Austin Mini Cooper S - and displacement giants - Ford Galaxie, Ford Mustang.
