The AVD Oldtimer Grand Prix took place for the 42nd time from August 8 to 10, 2014, in changeable weather conditions and in front of enthusiastic fans. Several hundred top-class vehicles showed what historic racing is all about in 13 races and demonstration drives. The Formula 1 and Grand Prix cars from the years up to 1965 included brands such as Cooper, Lotus, BRM, Lola and Brabham, monoposti that were still based on 1.5-liter engines, most of which were installed behind the driver.
