Lord Alexander Hesketh was a Formula 1 team boss in the 1970s whose decadent appearance and "fun first" motto initially elicited laughter or pitiable sympathy from the representatives of the Formula 1 "sworn-in". But when success finally came, the critics fell silent and Hesketh became all the louder, not least with the sale of teddy bears with helmets. This article tells the story of one of the most unusual racing teams in Formula 1 history.
