Ayrton Senna and Monaco - a magical pairing. The Brazilian won six times on the streets of the Principality. The first possible victory, however, did not come in 1984, even though he drifted godlike over the wet Monaco city track in an inferior Toleman TG184, taking four seconds off Alain Prost lap after lap, despite 100 hp less power. The race is waved off before Senna can even attempt to overtake. Toleman later became Benetton, the whole story of the TG184 is told and categorized in this article.
