Despite winning the title in 1993, the Alfa Romeo 155 soon proved to be less competitive in the years that followed, as its opponents had upgraded their cars. In a secret operation, a close-knit Alfa team built a completely redesigned touring car that beat its opponents several times in 1996. This report tells the story of the last evolution of the Alfa Romeo 155 Ti V6 ITC and shows Fisichella's car in historical and current pictures.
