The 2018 Planai Classic was held from January 4 to 6 and proved to be the most difficult yet, with lots of snow, thaw, fog and other adverse conditions making the task of the 49 participants a real challenge. The fact that a Mercedes-Benz 350 SL ended up as the winning car may come as a surprise, but the other winners, Mini and Lea Francis, may have driven even more. But there were good reasons for all this, as this comprehensive rally report with over 150 photos emphatically shows.
