On October 12, 2025, Roland Asch turned seventy-five, a welcome occasion for a major celebration. However, as his fiftieth wedding anniversary was on the calendar at almost the same time, the jubilarian was on a three-week tour through Italy to Sicily with his wife Gretel in an original Capri RS 2.6. In consultation between the family and the pit stop team, the postponed birthday celebration was therefore quietly prepared for November 23, 2025. Let's get straight to the point: the surprise was a success. It was a complete success. Rainer Klink from the Pit Stop Automobile Museum and journalist Michael Petersen, a veteran of the Stuttgarter Zeitung, introduced the invited guests, all of whom have a personal relationship with Roland Asch. The fact that some of them had never met before was soon to change during the course of the evening.
