The classic car meeting "Oldtimer Sunday Morning" in Zug has enjoyed a large following for many years. After being canceled in 2024 due to the situation, the popular classic car meeting has now been revived in 2025 under the management of ACS Mitte.
The second round took place on August 3, 2025.
Big rush
The turnout was surprisingly large, as changeable weather and the vacation season usually guarantee the opposite.
By 11 a.m., the space in the bull stables in Zug was already largely full.
Bernhard Taeschler and his co-organizers were delighted with the large number of visitors and the catering outlets had their hands full.
With announcement
The new arrivals were briefly explained by Elio Crestani, paid the entrance fee of CHF 10.00 and were shown to a free space on the grounds.
As this is done directly in front of the catering area, the coffee- or beer-drinking visitors had a comfortable opportunity to admire all the newly arriving vehicles from a seated position.
Officially, the meeting lasts from 09:00 to 14:00, but of course the organizers don't take it that seriously.
Great mix
As usual at such meetings, there was a great variety of eras, makes, body types and colors.
A considerable number of pre-war vehicles also arrived in Zug, including a Lagonda M45, various Rolls-Royces and a few others.
Of course, the range of cars from the fifties and sixties was large. When else do you see a Ford Zephyr or an MG Magnette?
And, as always, there was no shortage of everyday cars from the past, whether VW Beetle, Renault 4CV, Fiat 500 or Mazda 626.
Rarities were also well represented. For example, there was a Volvo P1900, the Swedish manufacturer's first sports car.
Several examples of the Lotus Elan Sprint had arrived and a Datsun Fairlady 2000 could also be admired.
American cars from the fifties and sixties were also well represented.
And for fans of the Ford Capri, all generations were on display.
Instead of long sermons, we recommend simply taking a look at the extensive picture gallery .
For all those who missed it in August, there will be another opportunity to visit the OSMT meeting in Zug on September 14, 2025.
