It is still running, the most successful van series in automotive history. The VW Transporter has been built for 75 years. The latest, seventh edition may be a joint venture with Ford, but the "Bulli", as the Germans in particular call it, still shines with many of the qualities of yesteryear. A small Swiss delegation of VW Bus drivers met in Gossau on May 15 for a joint trip to the 75th anniversary celebrations on the Salzburgring from May 16 to 18.
