On the weekend of October 7 and 8, 2017, the fifth edition of the commemorative Michael's Cross Race took place in Root in the canton of Lucerne. This hill climb was held six times between 1923 and 1933. The commemorative race is no longer about fractions of a second, but about beautiful vehicles and impressive soundscapes. The spectrum ranged from the two-stroke Aero to the brute American LaFrance. And the motorcycles were also a lot of fun. This event report shows most of the vehicles and impressions from the two-day event.
