The Daihatsu Spider 1000 (1968), the Datsun Sport 1600 and 2000 (1968, looking like the MGB), the Datsun 240 Z in its original form (from 1970), the Honda 1300 with air cooling (1969) and of course the S800 (from 1967), the original Mazda 110S Cosmo with Wankel engine (1968) or the small Toyota Coupé Sports 800 (1968), which was unknown in Europe. The later sporty variants of the Japanese models that have since become famous will certainly also become collectors' cars one day; however, the most interesting are the special models intended only for the Japanese market and not exported to Europe or America.
