Photo Gallery «Standard Vanguard III - American-inspired Briton»
The "Standard" car brand was much more than just a standard - as evidenced by the many models, all of which were praised by critics. One of these was the Standard Vanguard III - the Briton represented a new turning point, as the company had turned away from tried-and-tested models and towards new designs. The car was put through its paces by the Royal Automobile Club, among others. This report tells the story of the now rare model and is illustrated with historical photographs and brochures.
