Photo Gallery «Mazda RX-7 - unorthodox Porsche 924 opponent»
From 1978, Mazda built the RX-7 with a Wankel engine, at a time when most car companies had already written off the rotary piston engine. However, Mazda was to prove with the RX-7 that it was possible to earn money with the innovative engine concept. Over 800,000 RX-7s were built and they were especially loved by the Americans. This vehicle report shows the RX-7 in all its facets, documents its development and illustrates the interesting vehicle with over 100 pictures, vehicle brochures and presentation documents, right down to the sound sample.
