For the last few dozen examples of the Grifo, Iso even changed its engine partner and installed V8 engines from Ford. The change made little difference to the character of the elegant coupé, but did not save the manufacturer from bankruptcy. This driving report is dedicated to the very rare final version IR-8 and shows it in current and historical pictures.
