Old cars write their own unique history. This one is about a Bugatti that was found in Eastern Europe. The year is 1964 and the setting is the town of Beroun near Prague. To his own amazement, a Swiss photographer discovers not an Eastern Bloc car on the side of the road, but a genuine French car. But it's not just any French construction, no, a veritable Bugatti Type 49 from the 1930s is parked there. Enthralled by the car, the car enthusiast makes a note of the license plate number and sets off in search of the owner. When he finally found him, the owner was not interested in selling the car, but was definitely interested in a swap. Behind the Iron Curtain, he can't buy what he wants with money, but with help from abroad he sees a way to get his dream car. It should be an Opel station wagon.
