Photo Gallery «Citroën Ami 6 - the Miss Miracle»
Between 1961 and 1969, Citroën sold over one million Ami 6 vehicles. The technology came largely from the 2 CV, the unmistakable design by Bertoni and some elements of the interior were borrowed from the goddess DS. The practical car was particularly popular with the ladies, not least thanks to the centrifugal clutch. This report describes the history of the compact Ami 6 and shows it in many historical illustrations, which are themselves true gems of photographic art, as well as a sales brochure from the time.
