Summary
The Bond Equipe GT 2 Litre, built from 1967 to 1970, is certainly one of the more exotic cars on our roads. Thanks to the sporty large-scale production technology from the Triumph Vitesse, it was reliable, its body was made of plastic and was designed by Trevor Fiore. Today, the design may seem a little bulky, but when driving, the sports coupé shows its excellent Granturismo characteristics. This report portrays a late Mk-II coupé from 1970 and tells its story, illustrated with many photos and supplemented by a sound sample.

Sharp's Commerical did not have much money for elaborate new developments, so they opted for a cost-effective solution, which was marketed as the Bond Equipe, initially with four-cylinder engines and later also with six-cylinder engines.
