A highly wearresistant special alloy is used for the valve seat. The dry sump lubrication and the trochoid oil pump are responsible for the high performance of the engine. The paper element type oil filter prevents the oil from losing quality and minimizes wear. The oil, after making a complete circulation, is led to the oil jacket of the inlet manifold where it preheats the gasoline mixture in the jacket and returns to the oil tank. This process serves the double purpose of saving fuel by facilitating vaporization of the gasoline mixture, and of preventing the oil from becoming foul. For ideal forced cooling, the air from the radial fan is distributed evenly to both cylinders by means of the deflector in the fan casing.
