DETROIT, JANUARY 12, 1946 My boss Mr. Burnham, who ts the head of the whole «engineering research» for Beech Aircraft, has been here for the whole week. We went to many S.A.E. meetings. DETROIT, MARCH 2, 1946 / soon will travel to Wichita Kansas to continue there the work I have started for Beechcraft and to build the new car in two prototypes. Vm looking forward. BROADVIEW HOTEL, WICHITA KANSAS, APRIL 15, 1946 Last Saturday evening I arrived here from Detroit with my car and all my things after a beautiful trip of 1000 miles. Everything seems better to me than I ever had dreamed. WICHITA, JUNE 16, 1946 Today Saturday I had dinner with Wayne Porter, the designer of our car, with his wife and his 4 years old daughter. 9pm I went to the Airport to continue my work.
