The GT has direct and positive steering by rack and pinion with 2-9 turns from lock to lock. Space Behind the seats, you'll find plenty of room for baggage or occasional seating for children, and the flat floor lifts for access to the spare wheel. The rear seatback folds flat to allow the full length of the rear compartment to be used for luggage. The interior is richly carpeted and upholstered through out. Vision comes in for special attention—the wide, deep screen wraps round at the sides to eliminate blind spots. Big side windows wind out of the way quickly and quarter lights swivel for ventilation. The rear window is enormous, giving full rearward vision and opening wide for quick and easy access to the interior. Comfort The touch of luxury and careful attention to detail are everywhere evident in the cockpit of the MGB GT. Twin bucket seats hug you on fast corners, ample padding keeps you contoured and comfortable, even after many hours of fast motor ing. Seat backs are adjustable for rake, and the sliding adjustment provides leg room to spare for sixfooters and over.
