... is due to defective materials or workmanship for which we are responsible we will repair or replace the defective part free of charge. It must be clearly understood that this Guarantee is given only on the understanding that the vehicle has been purchased by the Owner as a new vehicle, for which the Company's List Price has been paid. The foregoing warranty is limited to new vehicles manufactured by us and is in lieu of any Warranty (or Condition) whether express or implied by Common Law Statute or otherwise as to the description quality or fitness for their purpose of any goods manufactured replaced or repaired by us every such Warranty (or Condition) whether express or implied being in all cases excluded and our liability under the terms of this Warranty is strictly limited to the replacement or repair and despatch to the Sender carriage forward of the part replaced or repaired. We shall not be responsible for any other liability expenses damages or loss which may occur consequent upon any misdescription defective material or work manship of any description.
