No other unsupercharged cars have enjoyed the outstanding successes of the Riley, and resulting from the immense fund of knowledge and experience gained from racing and competitions during the past five years, this new range represents the last word in high speed cars. In specification these cars are similar to the successful Riley racing cars, and although equal performance is not attainable from them as delivered, maximum performance higher than that suitable for every day use on the roads can easily be obtained at little expense by any owner with the assistance provided by the Riley Competitions Depart ment. Therefore, according to the use to which any one of the models comprising this new range is to be put, so can the necessary tuning be done, as the basis, namely, selected materials and special highefficiency design, is already in the owner's possession. One of the objectives of this new range of cars is to place in the hands of motorists who participate in competitions, cars which are in every way similar to those which the Factory Competitions' Department would prepare for the same ...Source:Archiv
