Interior Improvements New Facia The whole facia glove compartment and parcel tray has been redesigned to provide a feeling of added spaciousness for both driver and passenger. The facia in front of the passenger is carefully contoured and the whole is moulded in ABS plastics. New spherical vent type air nozzles are fitted to both driver's and passenger's side and provide much improved directional control and air flow. The instruments and layout have been revised to provide better legibility and the heater controls have been repositioned. The choke control is now located on the steering column, adjacent to ignition/starter key which has been relocated to make it more accessible. Trim and Fittings Throughout the range, standards of interior trim have been significantly raised. The 1.3 deluxe cars, for instance, now have carpet instead of rubber mats, and all previously naked painted metal surfaces inside are now trimmed to give a more civilised appearance. New fulldepth door trims, with new pattern arm rests appear on all models, as do sill locking stalks and Allegrotype interior door handles.
