... 2 - EASY TO PARK Only 8 ft. 10 in. long, 4 ft. 6 in. wide and with a turning circle of 24gft.9 the compact little car can be tucked into the tiniest parking spaces and is easy to manoeuvre. It is extraordinarily nimble in crowded traffic and, judged by the modest demands it makes on road space, in relation to the size of its load, it is one of the most unselfish of vehicles. The tank holds Jrz gallons with a quartergallon reserve. Cn one fillup you can drive some 300 miles. The many refinements introduced by the Trojan development team have made this willing little runabout smoother, quieter and betterlooking (inside as well as out). The finish, in particular, is greatly improved*. The use of stoved synthetic enamel gives the Trojan a lustrous, hardwearing finish in blue, grey or red. FOUR-SPEED GEARBOX The fancooled, oversquare engine, still made in Germany, has a bore of 64 mm. and a stroke of 61-fjr mm. The compression ratio is 6,8sl<. There is a fourspeed gearbox, the control of which has been made much easier and simpler by Trojan engineers. Pinal drive to the single rear wheel is by a chain enclosed in a cast aluminium, oilbath casing vmich also acts as the trailing swing arm supporting the rear wheel.
