With 32 hp, the most powerful Dyane offered twice as much power as the weakest 2 CV. In combination with the practical station wagon body, the middle of the small Citroëns was almost a contemporary car in 1970. However, due to its more serious appearance, some people found it much harder to forgive the Dyane for one or two shortcomings that would have been forgiven by the likeable Döschwo.
