"Driven by Disruption" was the somewhat unwieldy headline for RM/Sotheby's auction in New York on December 10, 2015. 31 vehicles and some automobilia were auctioned for around 2.5 hours. 22 cars were successfully sold for a total of USD 77.7 million, which meant an average of USD 3.53 million per vehicle. Whether it was 28 million for a Ferrari, 14 million for an Aston Martin or 1.8 million for a Porsche 356 SC, there was no shortage of money in New York.
