On October 24, 2021, RM/Sotheby's auctioned eight automobiles and a motorcycle alongside watches, handbags and sneakers under the heading "RM/Sotheby's Icons of Excellence & Haute Luxury". While a pair of sneakers fetched almost USD 1.5 million, six of the nine vehicles failed to sell. At least the Husqvarna, the VW Beetle and a Ford GT found their way into a new garage, while the Ferrari, SL and co. were left standing. This auction review analyzes the results and shows all the vehicles in pictures.
