Photo Gallery «RM/Sotheby's Amelia Island 2016 - from the horse-drawn carriage to the almost new super sports car»
RM/Sotheby's was the last of the big three auction companies to enter the race for sales quotas and price records on March 12, 2016 in Amelia Island. 93 automobiles worth around USD 60 million were offered, and the sale ultimately brought in USD 38.4 million. The sales quota was very good at 87%, it was some of the valuable and early cars that disappointed. There was no shortage of surprises, as the Peel P50 proved at the end. This auction article analyzes the results, showing the results in full and the cars in around 120 pictures.
