Photo Gallery «Gooding & Co London 2022 - Expensive expensive, cheap mostly cheaper than expected»
On September 3, 2022, Gooding & Co put 37 cars (and two engines) under the hammer at the Hampton Court Palace Concours of Elegance in London. 76 percent of the vehicles, valued at around GBP 33.1 million, were sold. A Ferrari 250 GT SWB, a Bugatti 55 and a Porsche 550 Spyder together fetched almost GBP 13 million. However, the highest bids showed that a lot of optimism had gone into the estimates. The surprise of the day was a Citroën 2 CV, which sold for more than double the expected price. This auction report analyzes the results and shows all the cars in pictures.
