Gooding & Co is also affected by concours cancellations. Instead of the planned auction in Pebble Beach, classic cars and automobilia as well as a motorcycle and a tractor were therefore auctioned online on August 3 to 7, 2020. The 53 four-wheeled vehicles were worth a total of almost USD 22 million. 66 percent of the vehicles passed into new hands for a total of USD 14.3 million, meaning that each buyer paid an average of around USD 410,000. Four of the five most expensive cars bore the prancing horse on the hood, with a Ferrari 275 GTB from 1966 achieving the highest selling price of USD 3.08 million. The big surprises, however, came from the cheaper cars. This auction article analyzes the results and shows many of the vehicles in pictures.
