Photo Gallery «Gooding Christie's Rétromobile Paris 2026 - despite records, not all hopes could be fulfilled»
For the first time, Gooding Christie's offered 80 cars, 1 motorcycle and two automobiles worth almost EUR 79 million directly in Hall 7.1 of Rétromobile Paris as an official partner. Despite 52% lots without a reserve price, only 80% of the vehicles were sold directly, for an average of EUR 763,861. The sometimes optimistic estimates often could not be realized, which is why some of the showpieces were left standing. The most expensive cars sold were a Ferrari 288 GTO, a Ferrari FXX K Evo and the super-elegant Talbot-Lago T150-C SS. This auction review analyzes the results, describes the atmosphere on site and shows the vehicles in pictures.
