On February 29 and March 1, 2024, Gooding & Company auctioned 122 cars, four motorcycles and a popcorn cart with a total value of over USD 87 million. While some cars sold well above expectations, others did not fulfill the high hopes placed in them. A Ferrari 612 Scaglietti provided a big surprise. A Mercedes Simplex became one of the most valuable pre-war classic cars of all time. This auction review analyzes the results and shows many of the cars in pictures.
