Frisky 1957-1962 - the cutest
Summary
There were around 10,000 car brands and designers - most of them have disappeared. Frisky is another name that has been lost. The company behind the tiny car was Henry Meadows Ltd. Frisky Car Ltd was then founded in 1958. This gave rise to a "Friskysport", soon the "Frisky Coupe" and the "Family Three", all of which were small vehicles.

Frisky had a special status among the small car brands due to its modern and cute design. It combined a sporty-looking front with generous window areas, including panoramic windows and perky rear fins, and was just 285 cm long. The Frisky, still in prototype form with gullwing doors, was shown for the first time at the 1957 Geneva Motor Show. Behind the Frisky was the motor factory Henry Meadows Ltd in Wolverhampton, which supplied enthusiast car brands. The concept came from Raymond Flower, who had previously developed plans for luxury sports cars, while Italian design talent Giovanni Michelotti refined the shape.
