There were around 10,000 car brands and designers - most of them have disappeared. One of these lost brands is the Brazilian car manufacturer Farus. After the first two models, the Farus industrial group ran into financial difficulties for the first time. Despite this, further models were produced, some of which were also exported to the USA. However, Brazil's opening up to imports meant the end for Farus.

Farus Beta, 1985 (4-cylinder mid-engine, 1796 cm3, 83 or 96 hp).
