As every year, Dorotheum auctioned 79 lots at the Classic Expo in Salzburg on October 17, 2020. In addition to 73 automobiles, 4 motorcycles/carriages, a tractor and a miniature car also went under the hammer. The total volume was estimated at EUR 4.43 million, but EUR 2.71 million was realized, which was mainly due to the fact that the two most expensive vehicles did not find new owners. Overall, however, 95% of the vehicles were sold, with an average bid of 92% of the median estimate. Some cars achieved prices well above expectations, while others were comparatively cheap.
