Photo Gallery «Bonhams Simeone/Philadelphia auction 2020 - with quite strong swings»
Bonhams was able to offer 60 cars with an average age of almost 69 years and roughly the same number of automobiles (up to the horse-drawn carriage) at the annual auction at the Simeone Foundation Museum in Philadelphia on October 11, 2020. 39 classic cars were ultimately sold for USD 3.3 million, an average of almost USD 84,000, thanks in particular to the 1931 Bentley 8 Tourer, which alone guaranteed a quarter of the total amount. While some lots were sold well above the estimated value, others did not even make it to ten percent of expectations. This auction report analyzes the results and shows many of the cars in pictures.
