Photo Gallery «Bonhams MPH March 2021 - an AMG Mercedes and many surprises»
When three Vauxhall, nine Land Rover, two Standard and four Austin cars go under the hammer, it must typically be an auction in the UK. Bonhams went under the hammer in Bicester on March 20, 2021, for 99 vehicles worth just under £1.9 million, after almost a tenth of the cars had been withdrawn. The most expensive car sold was a Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC AMG 6.0 Wide Body, but there were also surprisingly high prices for pre-war models and former bread-and-butter cars. This auction article analyzes the results, describes the auction dynamics and shows many of the vehicles in pictures.
