Organized for the first time in 1997, the Grand Prix Monaco Historique was held for the eleventh time in 2018. Around 140 Formula 1 cars from 30 years after 1950 and a number of Grand Prix racers from before the Second World War, together with a group of sports cars from the 1950s, came to the Côte d'Azur for the historic races on May 11-13, 2018 and showed what racing cars used to look, sound and smell like. The public came in large numbers and enjoyed seeing a lot, as this report with many pictures explains.
