Enzo Ferrari once said that successful sports cars are usually also beautiful. This was certainly true of the Aston Martin DBR1 of the late 1950s, because as a Le Mans winner and sports car champion, it lacked neither success nor elegant lines. The DBR1 was a solid construction and was particularly convincing as a complete package.
