The 14th Classic Days took place at Schloss Dyck on August 3 and 4, 2019. For once, the huge scenery invited visitors to travel back in time. Zwischengas photographer Daniel Reinhard was there and captured what he saw in a humorous and special photo story, as always.

... opened for the 14th Classic Days at Schloss Dyck.

Once again, we didn't even know where to start.

Ingenious for the fans, sheer horror for the gardener of the castle foundation, ...

... when suddenly people are camping everywhere in the lovingly tended garden.

The veterans once again shone in the morning sun.

Whether chrome, brass or gold, ...

... it is better to admire all these gems with a little distance.

Street signs were removed and ...

... Thousands of bales of straw were placed at the edge of the track as protection, ...

... when Arturo Merzario drove the Alfa-Romeo Tipo 33-3 around the circuit.

This breathtaking sound would have knocked astronaut Neil Alden Armstrong out of his moon boots ...

Everything was historically prepared down to the smallest detail and ...

... more and more fans come, as in England, in appropriate clothing.

Because Schloss Dyck is simply brilliant, for concours as well as for the race track, ...

... the extraterrestrials now know this too, wordlessly showing off their monstrous vehicles.

The Mercedes W25 Grand Prix car is first to be completely restored, then painted with ...

... and powdered sugar under clear varnish on patina and made into a work of art.

Electrics also made an appearance in the Schlosspark with the Pikes Peak record vehicle I.D.R from Volkswagen.

There are actually already suitable plants for this, at least in a hybrid version.

But the more well-known grasses will probably also be planted in the castle garden.

It's like shoes, the roll bar doesn't fit everyone. Too big for some, ...

... much too small for the other!

As the photographers on the track, ...

... no matter how the many trees are camouflaged, ...

... it can happen that a tree suddenly runs away.

As I said - camouflage is everything!

That's right, it's not a sneaker, it's a Nike racing sports car.

While the old iron is captured using the latest technology, ...

... the children still prefer to enjoy a real Punch and Judy show.

And why not be chauffeured by an ex-F1 driver?

Karl Wendlinger is surprisingly not in a racing car for once, but in a classy Mercedes convertible.

The hat clearly reads "Do not discuss" ...
