Among the many multi-wheeled, weather-protected small vehicle designs of recent years, the Heinkel cab is one of the relatively small number that managed to establish itself with the public and secure a corresponding market share. In a pleasingly purposeful manner, the designers have realized the requirements for low vehicle weight (lightweight construction with 290 kg), favorable space conditions (two adults and two small children or corresponding luggage), economical maintenance (single-cylinder four-stroke engine with moderate displacement and favorable performance) and satisfactory driving performance (top speed 90 km/h).
