For the 1967 model year, the Opel Rekord became bigger, more beautiful - and more expensive. Although the equipment and chassis had been refined accordingly, the popular mid-range car was still one price class higher than before. This test report from November 1966 discusses whether it had what it took to be a sales success, even at a base price of 7590 marks.
