Photo Gallery «Mazda 323 - the last of the Mohicans»
When almost the entire car industry in the compact class had already switched to transverse front engines with front-wheel drive, Mazda presented the 323 with rear-wheel drive in 1977. Despite its classic layout, the compact Japanese car was able to impress with modern technology and score points with low prices. Today, these cars have practically disappeared from our roads. This vehicle report tells the story of the first Mazda 323 and shows it in current and historical pictures.
